Arcadians get big name backing for debut album

The group have just finished recording their debut album, Making Lovers, with producer Mike Chapman, best known for his work with the legendary Blondie.

Mike, who produced Blondie albums Parallel Lines, Eat To The Beat and Auto American, seems pleased with results from sessions recorded at Vale Studios in Worcestershire.

He said: “Making this record was right up there with the best work I've done. Any time you get to work with kids who have their kind of skills, you are reminded on a daily basis of why you got into this business in the first place.”

Making Lovers is set for release later this year, meantime The Arcadian Kicks will be playing live at The Public, West Bromwich, on Friday February 26.
