SCRIBES across the borough are invited to join in and celebrate efforts to revive the art of handwriting.
Stationery company Sheaffer, the official partners of National Stationery Week which runs from April 22 to 28, are asking people to put pen to paper and send them a page of their own scribblings to help keep handwriting alive.
Everyone who takes part could have their writing analysed by a graphologist and would also be in line to win a luxury calligraphy set.
Sheaffer spokesman Tim Williams said: “We want to stimulate people of all ages to keep on writing as a past-time as well as a necessity, because we all know that a pen will never go out of fashion.”
