STOURBRIDGE Rock Choir members joined forces with punk legend Toyah Willcox at a concert in Birmingham.
Singers from the town group formed part of the Midlands Rock Choir who took to the stage for a fundraising concert at Birmingham's Symphony Hall on Saturday July 19.
Choir leader, Christa Hugo, who runs weekly Rock Choir sessions in Stourbridge, was thrilled with her choir members’ performance.
She said: “The choir members were absolutely awesome. They really did themselves proud. The response from the audience was fantastic and I’m sure they will remember their performance for years to come."
After the performance, choir members and the audience were invited to dig deep and make donations to The Teenage Cancer Trust in memory of tragic teen Stephen Sutton.
Stourbridge Rock Choir formed in 2012 and has taken to the stage at many local events including Stourbridge Carnival.
