ALL lanes have now reopened on the M6 northbound following a lorry fire.
Emergency services staff worked hard to contain the blaze which partially blocked the northbound carriageway of the motorway between junctions 4 and 6 on Monday evening.
Ther incident resulted in extensive tailbacks while crews tackled the fire involving a HGV which was reportedly carrying two tonnes of tissue paper.
