THREE men have been arrested on suspicion of affray after a man was allegedly stripped naked and attacked in Lye High Street.
Police were called to reports of a disorder in the high street just before 11.10am yesterday morning (Thursday, July 12).
Witnesses claim a man – who is believed to be of Romanian or Asian origin – was stripped and beaten in the street, but officers have confirmed no one was seriously injured during the incident.
Three men, aged 28, 31 and 35, have since been arrested on suspicion of affray and are currently in police custody for questioning.
Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call 101, quoting log number 1023 of 12/7/18.
