A SLOVENIAN man who has allegedly been stalking a Stourbridge woman since last year has been arrested by police after flying to Britain.
The man landed at Birmingham Airport shortly after 11pm on Tuesday night (July 17) where he was met by airport police officers.
He was immediately detained and later handed over to officers from Staffordshire Police.
A 56-year-old man from Slovenia was arrested on suspicion of harassment. He remains in police custody and enquiries are on-going.
The arrest was made following an extensive investigation by Staffordshire Police into reports that a 36-year-old woman had been subjected to months of harassment by the suspect.
