AN IMAGE has captured the moment a huge fire ripped through a landfill site in Pensnett.
Firefighters tackled the huge blaze yesterday evening (Monday, March 14).
Around 20 tonnes of refuse caught fire at a landfill site off Stallings Lane.
Residents living nearby were urged to shut their windows.
Brierley Hill Fire Station tweeted: “We are currently dealing with 20 Tonnes of refuse on fire near Stallings Lane in Pensnett. If you live locally please close your windows.”

A spokesperson for West Midlands Fire Service said: "At 7.03pm on Monday 14 March we responded to a fire involving approximately 20 tonnes of landfill material off Oak Lane, Kingswinford.
"Firefighters from Stourbridge and Brierley Hill fire stations attended.
"On-site staff used a digger to help move and turn over the burning waste.
"Our crews extinguished the fire using hose reel jets and left the scene shortly before 9pm."
