A MAN has been arrested after a motorcyclist was killed in a crash in Stourbridge.
The collision happened at the junction of Broome Lane and Stourbridge Road in Stourbridge at 10.57pm on May 10 and involved a VW Golf and a Harley Davidson motorcycle.
The motorcyclist, a man, aged 44 was pronounced dead at the scene.
A man, aged in his 20s, has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and remains in police custody.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “On arrival, crews discovered a man, the motorcyclist, in a critical condition.
“Ambulance staff immediately began administering advanced life support but sadly, despite their best efforts, it became apparent nothing could be done to save him and he was confirmed dead at the scene.
“The driver of the car was also assessed, before being discharged at the scene.”
