A MAN has been charged with murder after a woman was found dead at a house in Birmingham.
Anthony Hoey has been charged with the murder of Francis Dwyer, aged 48, who was found at a property on Mulwych Road, Tile Cross, on Saturday (March 30).
Her family, including her mum, two daughters and grandchildren, have today paid tribute to her – describing her as a “much-loved daughter, mother, nan, sister, auntie, mother-in-law and friend”.
They said she would be missed and loved forever, adding: “Heaven has gained the most beautiful Angel.”
Hoey, aged 49, of Hall Road, Handsworth, was arrested on Saturday evening and was due to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court today (Tuesday April 2).
He is further charged with theft, aggravated vehicle taking and driving a motor vehicle taken without the owner's consent.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: “Ms Dwyer's family are being supported and kept updated and our thoughts remain with them at this awful time.”
