UP to 50 firefighters battled a large blaze at a recycling site in Lye this morning (August 1).
Crews were called to the site in Rufford Street at around 7.30am this morning.
The fire was out by 9.30am, however crews are likely to remain at the scene throughout the day.
No-one is believed to have been hurt in the fire, which ripped through a large brick and steel-clad building, containing fridges and other items.
Group Commander Richard Stanton said: “Our crews did some incredible work to control this fire so quickly. Our first firefighters were at the scene in five minutes and their assertive efforts minimised damage to the building.”
The first crew was on the scene within five minutes.

Stourbridge Road has now reopened after being closed this morning.
The number nine bus route between Stourbridge and Birmingham via Halesowen has also been diverted.
The diversion from Stourbridge is in place via Cemetery Road, Dudley Road, Lye by pass and then the normal line of route.
