A CLASSIC car owner is coping with the loss of his “pride and joy” after thieves took the £10,000 vehicle.
The incident happened between 6pm and 6.50pm on Tuesday September 29 when the car was parked in the car park at St Kenelms Pass, Clent.
The car is a blue Mark One Ford Escort Mexico with a white stripe on each side and Mexico on each door, registration MVF76L.
A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: “This is the owners pride and joy and he is understandably very upset that it has been stolen.
“It is quite a distinctive car and we would urge anyone that thinks they may have seen it to give us a call as soon as possible.”
