MASTERS of horror AG Smith and Alan Birch are preparing to scare audience members once more with another night of spooky storytelling in Stourbridge.

Actor Alan Birch is set to reprise his role as The Librarian to bring to life three chilling tales penned by Kinver author AG Smith (Alan Smith) - following the success of their Evening of Delectable Terror which premiered at The Bonded Warehouse on Halloween in 2016.

Since then the show has toured extensively, including a sold out run of performances in Birmingham and London, and has been given the thumbs-up by BBC Dragon’s Den star Piers Linney, bestselling authors Robin Jarvis, Miranda Dickinson and Ian Thornton and legendary Led Zeppelin singer Robert Plant, who saw the show twice.

Following the production's success - the two Alans have now devised a brand new show called Walpurgisnacht which promises to be equally haunting.

Stourbridge News:

Alan Birch, pictured above as The Librarian in a pic taken by Paul Butcher, said: "Walpurgisnacht features three new horror stories by AG Smith.

"There is something here for every lover of horror as the stories explore themes of witchcraft, monsters and ghost stories.

"Anyone who saw us on tour in 2017 will have an idea of what to expect, but the new show is much more multi-media, using projected images to enhance the already unnerving tales."

The pair have also recruited actor Greg Wilde to appear in the production which also features the vocal talents of Gerry Hinks and Tom Roberts who have appeared in Coronation Street and Emmerdale respectively.

Walpurgisnacht will premiere at Katie Fitzgerald’s in Enville Street, Wollaston, on Thursday April 26, starting at 7.30pm.

An autumn tour will then follow, which will visit Birmingham and London.
