AUTHOR AG Smith and actor Alan Birch will be giving horror fans a treat this Halloween when they stage another evening of spooky storytelling.
The pair, whose past productions An Evening of Delectable Terror and Walpurgisnacht sent shivers down the spines of audience members, have reprised their Weeping Bank Productions partnership to present Rock with Terror which will run at Katie Fitzgerald's in Enville Street, Stourbridge, on Wednesday October 31.
The evening, which starts at 7.30pm, will begin with two haunting tales from the archives of the Weeping Bank library, presented by Alan Birch as The Librarian, followed by a 40-minute set from four-piece Gothic Americana country duo Dark Circus.
Alan Birch said: “We love performing at Katie’s, it’s always such a great atmosphere.
“And when Clare Farrington Stanley, the lead singer of Dark Circus, approached us to see if we’d be interested in joining forces, we jumped at the chance.”
The two Alans will also be presenting Walpurgisnacht - for those who missed it previously - at Birmingham's Old Joint Stock Theatre on Monday October 29 and Tuesday October 30.
Tickets for both shows cost £10 and are available online from www.weepingbankproductions.co.uk or call 01384 396752.
