A PLAY penned by Stourbridge playwright Dave Morris, commemorating 100 years since the end of the First World War, is running this week.
The Broken Truce runs at Stourbridge Town Hall from tonight (Thursday November 22) to Saturday November 24.
Set in spring 1919 after the Great War is over, the thought-provoking drama - which is making its stage debut this week - follows those returning from the war, determined not to go back to the past and intent on creating a different future but haunted by the horrors of the conflict.
Tickets for the show are available from The French Deli in Coventry Street, Stourbridge, or by calling 0333 666 3366 or online at www.stourbridgetheatre.co.uk.
