STOURBRIDGE bluesman Ian Parker is planning some jailhouse rock at his home town's newest venue.
After a couple of years gigging as a solo performer with just an acoustic guitar for company Ian has teamed up with some old comrades for a full-on electric show.
The rocked-up Parker performance will be rolling into Moochers, New Road, for a night at the venue opposite the police station known as the Jailhouse.
Ian called at the venue to meet up with the Base Sessions team for a chat about the gig and reconnecting with his home-town roots.
His band for the UK tour, which will kick off at Moochers on Saturday February 16, includes drummer Chris Finn and bass player Dave Jenkins, who played in Ian's first band, Strange Brew.
Although two decades have passed since the Strange Brew days Ian says they are ready to go with a raw sound featuring songs from throughout his career.
The Base Sessions is recorded and produced by Base Media, Stourbridge.
