LET Loose had hits back in the early 90s and only just missed out on topping the charts.
Their single Crazy For You sold 400,000 copies and was only kept from the number one slot by the massive success of Wet Wet Wet’s Love is All Around.
The group was labelled a boy band being accomplished musicians and found it tough to match the success of Crazy For You.
They split after their 1996 album Rollercoaster failed to make a big impact on the charts.
Frontman Richie Wermerling went on to join the power pop group Bottlefly and became a recognised music producer while drummer Lee Murray took up a career in artist management, working with celebrities including Ronan Keating, Cyndi Lauper, Lisa Stansfield and Kelly Brook.
Richie and Lee reformed Let Loose in 2008 and the following year released a new album called Paint It Gold and returned to playing live gigs.
The group called at the Party in The Park in Stourbridge on Saturday May 21 to round off the event with 30-minute set on the main stage.
Before their Stourbridge gig the band took time to record a video interview with for our online music feature - The Base Sessions.
