NO Americana are a rock band with one thing in mind - to make music how they think it should be.
The Walsall four-piece has been together since 2008 and already toured the UK and Europe with The Wildhearts and Stone Sour.
The band has also played a some of the biggest British rock festivals including Download and Sonisphere and is being tipped for big things following the release of their debut EP in July.
Kerrang Magazine says the band produces “plenty of classy songwriting and big choruses” and No Americana are already regulars on Kerrang Radio.
During a series gigs to promote the new EP, called Declaration of Independence, No Americana called at Base Studios in Stourbridge and, before the show, took time for a chat with music writer Roland Link for Base Sessions cameras.
Roland Link, said: “I think this band is fantastic. They rock hard with verve, passion and a sense of purpose.
“I’ve got a feeling you’ve only got a limited amount of time to see these guys in such an intimate venue.
“Maybe in years to come this ‘Friday Links’ @ Base Studios show will be one of those gigs that thousands of people will claim they attended. Well I was there; and for that hour I wouldn’t have been anywhere else.”
