BEGGARS are tipped by many to emerge as a British classic who devote their lives to their art.
The young Reading four-piece decided to throw everything in to the group by moving in together, in a bid to gel as a unit.
Singer, Jamie Girdler, said: “For us, you either go all out or not at all. Everyone just quit everything they were doing, and we all moved into a flat together.”
The plan seemed to work, they were soon signed by Heavenly Records who kept them out of the limelight until their sound was perfected.
