Amblecote's Glasshouse Arts Centre is hosting a celebration of myth, art and the food of Crete.
The wonders of Greece are being brought to life at the Wollaston Road arts complex - with an exhibition of art inspired by ancient and modern Crete.
Open daily from 10am to 4pm, Monday to Saturday, until Saturday June 14 - the display features paintings and weavings by Glasshouse students, inspired by their history of art trips to Crete.
On Friday May 16, Glasshouse College Productions will be bringing to life the ferocious and humorous tale of Theseus and the Minotaur.
Written and directed by Glasshouse artistic director Mike Chase, it starts at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £5 (£4 concessions).
On Saturday May 17, there will be a free slide show presentation about the Glasshouse College's history of art trips to Crete - starting at 4pm.
And later that day, from 5.30pm to 6.30pm - there will a chance to try a Cretan Dinner for £7.50 in the Glasshouse's Coffee Shop.
Also on Saturday May 17, Tom Ravetz will be exploring the deep truths of the myth of Theseus and the Minotaur in Theseus and the Dawn of a New Consciousness.
Starting at 7pm, tickets cost £4 (£3 concessions).
