A STOURBRIDGE venue is revamping a regular event to search for top talent with major prizes on offer.
Katie Fitzgerald's, Enville Street, has handed its Monday Open Mic night over to The Dark Blue Boogaloo, who already promote a successful event at the pub.
An audience vote will decide the best Monday night performer with semi-finals and a final set for later this year.
The winners will scoop a selection of prizes including a support slot at a Katie's event and recording time at the venue's studio.
All entrants will be given an hour's free recording time at the pub which must be used as part of a paid for session.
The venue is also getting into high tech entertainment by moving its Wii night to the Cellar Bar on Wednesday evenings.
Organisers are looking for teams of gamers to take part, for more information call 01384 374410 an ask for Anthony.
It's all change for the popular Acoustic Brew event which is heading to the upstairs Bar Stage from Wednesday June 4.
The popular free event features the best in acts from the region, for more details visit www.katiefitzgeralds.co.uk
