A KINGSWINFORD born music agent is bringing a touch of Vegas glamour home to a Black Country venue.
The Vegas Kings, the UK's only Neil Diamond and Elvis double headline show, is heading for the Robin 2, Bilston, on Saturday May 31.
The show will mark a milestone for former Summer Hill school student Lara Baker, who is now based in London and runs her own booking agency, Black Six Entertainment.
Lara said: "It's very exciting to be bringing one of the top shows I represent to the area I grew up in.
"Elvis and Neil Diamond are two of the most well-loved performers of the last century, and this show really captures the brilliance of these performers and their timeless songs.
The show features Staffordshire Elvis, Mark Clay, who has performed as Elvis around the UK for over ten years and Charlie Hodge, who has over 3,000 shows as Neil Diamond on his CV.
They will be accompanied by live backing band The Strip, for a Vegas style production featuring classics including Sweet Caroline, Viva Las Vegas, Love on the Rocks, Suspicious Minds, Hello, Heartbreak Hotel, Forever in Blue Jeans and The Wonder of You.
The show starts at 8pm and will feature a one-hour Neil Diamond set followed by a one-hour Elvis set, with a number of duets.
Tickets cost £12.50 in advance and £13.50 on the door from the usual outlets.
