AFTER 15 years paying tribute to the region's biggest rock band Fred Zeppelin are celebrating on home turf.

The band, who are renowned for being the leading UK tribute act to Led Zeppelin, are set to play an anniversary gig at the Robin 2, Bilston, on Saturday June 14.

The show will coincide with the 30th anniversary of the release of Led Zep's legendary live album The Song Remains The Same'.

To mark the occasion The Fredz are planning to play all the songs from the album during the show, at a venue which the band says is an appropriate place to mark their milestone.

The Fredz performed one of their first gigs at The Robin 1, in Brierley Hill, in August 1993.
