ROCK bassist Glenn Hughes will be among a host of big names helping the Robin 2 celebrate a musical milestone.
The Bilston venue is marking its tenth anniversary with a week of concerts from leading artists including the former Trapeze and Deep Purple star.
Cannock born Hughes emerged in the late 60’s as an innovative rock musician who added a funky feel to his playing by drawing influences from soul stars like Otis Redding.
Hughes returned to the music scene as a solo star after spending much of the 80’s battling drug addiction brought on by the excesses of life with Purple, a band who made the most of all the pleasures available to worldwide rock stars.
Glenn will be performing and taking time answer questions from the crowd at The Robin 2, Mount Pleasant, on Saturday September 20.
