A TOP name on the British RnB scene is heading to Stourbridge for a show promising a mix of funk and fun.
Ricky Cool and the Hoola Boola Boys are a group of musicians who came together at a birthday bash and found the sound so good they could not stop themselves from forming a band.
Since 1990 they have played countless gigs in the UK and Europe and supported many leading performers including the legendary Robert Plant.
Ricky’s time with his former band, The Rialtos, began a working relationship with the Led Zeppelin star which provided personnel for the first line-up of Plant’s band The Honeydrippers.
Ricky Cool and the Hoola Boola Boys will be on stage at Katie Fitzgerald’s, Enville Street, on Saturday September 13.
