Diamond Head set for their biggest gigs ever

The heavy metal heroes are lined up for the main stage at Knebworth’s Sonisphere Festival on Friday July 8, where they will be opening the show for rock’s big four - Anthrax, Megadeth, Slayer and Metallica.

Earlier this month Diamond Head’s lead guitarist, Brian Tatler, collected the prestigious Spirit of The Hammer accolade at Metal Hammer magazine’s Golden Gods Awards.

In accepting the award, Brian thanked “all the members of Diamond Head past and present” and said he was “very proud people still appreciate Diamond Head and that the songs have stood the test of time”.

Diamond Head will be warming up for Sonisphere with a show at The Slade Rooms, Wolverhampton, on Wednesday July 6.
