A STOURBRIDGE theatre group are about to hit the stage once again but this time with a brand new play.
A Comedy Theatre Group will perform PM.COM, a debut piece written by local author David J Robertson.
David’s first play is a comedy drama about a man who has had enough and decides it's time for change, so he sets up his own online political party and wins support from a nation that feels the same as he does.
But what happens next? Will he become the country’s first online Prime Minister, or will he just fade away into obscurity to reappear on ‘I’m a Celebrity’?
Directed by writer and actor Phill Liptrot and featuring Black Country Radio’s Laura Liptrot, the story unfolds from 7.30pm at Gig Mill Methodist Church Hall, in Witton Street, on Friday June 9 and Saturday June 10.
Tickets, priced at £3 each, are available now by emailing acomedytheatregroup@hotmail.co.uk, or calling 07954 692593 or 01384 824766.
Following their new play, A Comedy Theatre Group – which aims to give opportunities to local writers, directors and performers – will be back in December with their new pantomime.
Oh no they won’t! Oh yes they will! etc…
