JONES Donald Percival May he rest in peace. From all his Family. Born January 8th, 1928, to Harold and Flora Jones, beloved Husband and Father. Donald Jones passed away on July 2nd, 2018. He attended Stourbridge Grammar School, and after National Service worked at the GPO (later BT) until Retirement. A keen rugby fan, he was associated with Stourbridge RFC for over 60 years. In 2008, the Daily Telegraph claimed he was the oldest rugby referee in the UK. He is remembered affectionately as 'Dippy' (DP) Jones. Later in life Donald took up square dancing, and was a member of Hagley Golf Club and Mary Stevens Park Croquet Club. He leaves his loving Wife June, and his Children, Martyn, Jane and Elizabeth.
