SMITH Derek 93 years of age. Born Bushbury, Wolverhampton April 16th 1925. Lived with his late Wife Catharine at Slade Heath for 34 years, they retired to Norbury, Shropshire in 1987, where they had 13 more wonderful years together. A widower since 2000. In 2005 he married Sheila, who he loved dearly, and moved to Bishops Castle, to be with her. In November 2017 Derek moved to Westley Court Nursing Home, Cookley where he sadly died on 13th January 2019. Dearly loved and sadly missed by Wife Sheila, Son Paul, Daughter in Law Valerie and all Family and Friends. Funeral Service will be at Stourbridge Crematorium Chapel on Friday 8th February at 12.20 p.m. Derek's wish was for flowers, but if you wish, donations can made to Cancer Research c/o J. Vernon Kendrick, Funeral Directors, Vernon House, Cemetery Road, Lye DY9 8DB.
