JOHN MEES From Cross Street, Kingswinford passed away peacefully on 10th April aged 81 years. Sadly missed by Sister Janet and Brothers David, Paul and Mark. Funeral date to be announced but will be restricted to 10 people due to current circumstances. Funeral Directors are Horace Porter and Son who will record the service and make it available to view online.

I was sorry to hear of John's death but it immediately reminded me of the enjoyable times we had playing together for Lye Cricket Club. John's smile and infectious laughter brightened up the dressing room even on the occasions when we were licking our wounds. I hope the good memories you have of John will help you through these difficult times.

Very sad to hear of John passing away. I have very fond memories of the opening partnership of John Mees and Martin Hill scoring lots of runs for Lye Cricket Club on sunny Sunday afternoons. On his day, John could destroy the best of any bowling attack, and always did it with a smile on his face. Happy days indeed.
