John Cooper was an enginee who rworked with his brother Charles in setting up a spring steel processing factory . I was an apprentice there in the 1950's and John taught me a great deal. He was lovely man and always had a pipe in his mouth. I remember that he had served in an army tank in North Africa in the second World war. May he rest in peace

A more kind, honourable and generous man you will never find. A stalwart, revered figure at Churchill & Blakedown Golf Club where he will be forever missed. Rest in peace.
