AN Ugandan pastor is to give a service at Chawn Hill Church, Stourbridge about his effect of encouraging prayer to society.
Revivalist Aloysius Kiiza will visit Stourbridge on Tuesday March 13 and will talk about how Lift Up Jesus Global Ministries church in south-west Kabale has helped the society.
According to Revivalist Aloysius Kiiza persistent prayer has helped to change the negative atmosphere of the town and crime and murder has been reduced as a result.
Pastor Kiiza said: "Many have found a real faith in Christ as all members of our church have pressed through in prayer in what was a dead-end town living without hope."
At the end of the meeting a collection will be made in aid of Hope Africa - Kabale which help needy and disadvantaged children who are orphaned and suffer with HIV/AIDS.
