Margaret Pearson was a hard working committee member and a keen team player in the skittles matches until her illness, and will be sadly missed.
The recent quiz was well supported and great fun, and the Wychbury team won the latest skittles match.
The pancake lunch was held last Tuesday with many members from all the institutes in the Group enjoying a two-course meal.
Ann Dunsby, group co-ordinator, opened and closed the meeting, gave out the notices, and introduced the speaker Chloe Lees who describes herself as a storyteller The competition was a stitched book mark and was won by Stourton WI who received the coveted frying pan for another year.
After the business was concluded the speaker for the evening was welcomed. Michael Taylor writes romantic novels set in and around the Black Country.
Next months meeting will be held on Wednesday March 21 in Pedmore Primary school at 7.30pm when the talk will be about living in Arizona.
Visitors will be warmly welcomed.
