He thanked all the committee members for all their work over the last year.
The president Tom Hadgkiss and members held a minute's silence in memory of Roy Nock.
He was pleased to tell members that Gerald and Isabel Darby's book had now raised £1000 for the hospice.
Members were asked if instead of a speaker would they prefer a quiz at one of the meetings.
Also would they prefer a change of venue for the Chairman's lunch in November.
The secretary Liz Hathway gave her report of the year followed by the annual show secretary's report. Donald Knight the monthly show secretary was very pleased with all the excellent produce. It excelled over the past year with the number of entries.
A special mention of thanks to Tony Hill for all his hard work when we had our meetings at the Stourbridge Conservative Club.
The judges of the various products all gave their reports which were very pleasing.
Gill Baker reminded members of the President's Supper on March 2.
Following the meeting members had a light supper presented by Una Langley.
The next meeting will be on March 19.
