DK Running Club Runners from DK Running Club had a wet, windy and very muddy weekend, taking part in two races on Sunday. Some of DK's braver runners were out on Cannock Chase running one of the hardest races in the area, the Milford 21.
Kevin Duckworth put in a good performance, leading DK's runners home, followed by Stuart Tromans and Steve Holdcroft.
While DK's only lady competitor, Lucy Cambridge, completed it in 3 hours 27 minutes.
Near Kidderminster meanwhile, Brian Russell was first home for the club, followed by Helen Tromans, and Colin Downey in the Wyre Forest eight around paths and trails in the woods.
The club will also be running a new course for adults. All fitness levels are catered for, but must be able to walk continuously for 30 minutes and be medically fit. The course aims to take new runners through such aspects as warming up, stretching and each session will gradually build up in distance.
The course is held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7pm and costs £15.
Enrolment and Induction at DKRFC 7pm prompt Tuesday March 13th.
