Twenty seven members and one visitor were welcomed to the February meeting by the president Miss V Waugh.

Members voted on the competition entry for the Pancake lunch to which 12 members will be going, nine members will attend the Group Spring meeting on March 28 at Stourton, hosted by Kinver W.I.

The members discussed and agreed to a proposal to buy three new, lightweight trestle tables to replace the old ones, subject to the approval of the head teacher. A new speaker system was tried out and it was agreed to go ahead with the purchase of this.

The new national WI magazine "WI Life" had been received by all members.

Details of the sub-groups activities were given out and members reminded the Dark group will re-commence on March 20 after a winter break.

The film evening organised by J Price raised £135 for the Whizz Kids Charity.

The evening speaker Sue Clegg's very informative talk was greatly enjoyed. Vicky Waugh thanked her.

The competition at the March meeting on 12th is a four line poem on Pedmore. Visitors are always welcome.
