A COMMUNITY centre in Brierley Hill have been awarded a £5,679 grant from the Awards for All lottery fund.
Nine Locks Community Centre, Hill Street is a voluntarily run, self-supporting centre which rely on grants to help for refurbishments.
The money awarded will help pay for a new kitchen, kitchen floor and cooker.
Chairman of Nine Locks Community Association Irene Korvin said: "We are delighted with this award as the existing kitchen is very old and badly needs updating.
"A very big thank you to the Lottery Fund."
