A KINGSWINFORD museum is hosting an exhibition with charity fundraising at heart.
The Dale Collection - Cocktails of Colour, believed to be the largest private collection of vintage Stuart enamelled glassware in the UK, went on show at the Broadfield House museum.
The collection was built up over 20 years by Birmingham couple Tom and Amy Dale, with many pieces given as presents.
Tom died aged 55 in December 2004 from a heart attack and the exhibition will be dedicated to his memory.
At the close of the exhibition, on Thursday July 5, the collection will be sold to raise funds for the British Heart Foundation and Birmingham Children's Heart Nurse Appeal.
Amy said: "Tom hated boring presents and loved surprises, I often disguised the presents so he would not guess what it was.
"Exhibiting the collection seems like a fitting tribute."
