Furious Gornal Athletic boss Simon Williams blasted the attitude of some his under-performing players after they slipped to yet another defeat against lowly opposition.
The Peacocks' pride has been dented in recent weeks with a string of poor results -the latest being a 3-2 reverse at Bustleholme at the weekend - and angry Williams has run out of patience.
He said: "We kept faith with these players and they have let us down again. We thought we had turned the corner but it is getting worse.
"We have dropped out of the top three now and the only thing we have left is to plan for next season."
Williams remains hopeful of landing the signatures of the two players he has been chasing in recent weeks before Saturday's tricky looking away clash with Pelsall Villa and says that even without the arrival of new players there has to be changes. "Pelsall have been flying and it will be a hard game," he acknowledged. "But we have to experiment, we have got to give other players a chance now. It is pointless playing the same old players and scrapping for fourth in the league. We might as well blood some new ones and see what we have got and get ourselves right for next season."
