BLACK Country school pupils are being given the opportunity to take part in a Travelling Threads lace exhibition.
The exhibition organised by Ruth Semple who is part of the Lace Guild met with children at Our Lady and St Kenelm School in Halesowen on Monday February 26.
This Travelling Threads exhibition is a combined museum, learning resource and practical lacemaking class and is a fun aspect for children to learn about different cultures.
Organiser Ruth Semple said: "The exhibition is designed to encourage school children to experience learning through culture."
The Lace Guild is an educational charity - working to promote the understanding of history, the construction and design of lace.
The exhibition will also travel to Pensnett School of Technology in March- where other schools will visit to take part in the display.
