YOUNGSTERS in Brierley Hill organised a balloon race for charity as part of their training programme.
Kids at Juniper Training programme based at the Waterfront took part in arranging an event for Acorn charity.
The balloon race took part on Tuesday March 6 on the bridge and the three students involved in the project, Amy Parker, Natasha Gordon and Joseph Nicholls promoted the race.
As part of their training programme at Juniper Training the students had to plan, implement and deliver a charity event for the community.
Juniper training officer Lisa George said: "They have planned it over a period of two weeks and have worked extremely hard, I'm very proud of them.
"The community project is part of their E2E programme and has to be completed in order to move forward within the programme itself."
The students chose the Acorn charity themselves and also dedicated the race in memory of Lisa's late uncle.
Acorn charity solely rely on charitable events or donations to provide support to the children in their care.
Juniper Training is a company which specialises in delivering education and employment skills such as health and safety certificates and first aid to young adults aged from16 to 18.
