The Society's February meeting took place on the 8th. The chairman gave out information regarding the conservation projects for Wordsley Hospital and the Dudley canals.
A trip to Elgar Museum followed by supper is being considered for the annual evening outing on June 14 and a show of hands showed support.
The chairman then introduced the speaker for the evening Don Shipman, whose subject was "The Black Country Living Museum" - form the earliest days up to the present and looking forward to the future.
The ladies who provided the refreshments were also thanked.
The March meeting of the society will take place on Thursday 8th at the Community Centre, Wordsley Green, at 7.30 pm when Trevor Genge will give the invitation to "Cum n' av' a loff - Black Country Humour".
New members always welcome and visitors at a cost of £1.50 including refreshments".
