STOURBRIDGE primary schools and police officers have joined together to collect stamps to raise cash for charity.
Officers involved in the collection were from the Neighbourhood 25 team - PCSO Sylvia Cooper, WPC Sue Kidd, WPC Helen Keeley and Sgt Neil Higgins who delivered boxes to primary schools situated on Neighbourhood 25.
The boxes were distributed in December so that stamps could be saved from the Christmas post and collected for Guide Dogs for the Blind to help buy a puppy.
Schools who collected the most were Ham Dingle in first, Oldswinford in second,Pedmore Church of England in third and St Joseph's in fourth. Stourbridge Police Station and Pedmore Technology College also had boxes.
Schools kids and police officers handed over the stamps to the Pocklington Trust at Mary Stevens Centre, Hagley Road.
WPC Helen Keeley said: "We are pleased with the collection. We wanted to support a good cause."
