THE CLENT Hills has been recommended as a popular tourist spot to take time out to visit over the Easter break.

BBC presenter Adrian Chiles has suggested the Clent Hills as a natural place to take a trip as publicised in the BBC's The Magazine.

Ten celebrities were asked about Britain hidden gems such as private views, untrodden walks and secret spots to go to during the Easter hols.

Presenters such as Radio 1 Edith Bowman and actor and broadcaster Tony Robinson were just some of the famous people asked to recommend some offbeat tourist spots.

Former Hagley resident and popular broadcaster Adrian Chiles suggested the Clent Hills and it featured fourth in the list of top ten places to visit in the magazine.

The Clent Hills are a popular walking range especially with ramblers and residents and consist of Walton Hill, Clent Hill, Wychbury Hill, Calcot Hill and Adams Hill.

Describing the views from Clent, Adrian said: "This is Worcestershire and Hertfordshire and Shropshire and on a clear day, Wales.

"When the sun is setting over this heart of England I doubt there can be a more gently spectacular view anywhere."
