STOURBRIDGE College has enlisted town MP Lynda Waltho to launch their new multi-million pound training centre.
Lynda is set to open the facility, at the Waterfront in Brierley Hill, today (Tuesday March 20) and she says the £3m centre is the first step in the college's quest to become a top centre of learning.
The Advanced Technology Centre will provide places for 90 students to learn a range of skills.
Lynda said: "I am really pleased to be part of this great event.
"Stourbridge College has just received a good OFSTED report and is in the top 20 per cent of FE colleges UK wide and is aiming to get to the top.
"Our future prosperity in The Black Country depends on our education and training system, relying on it to prepare our young people fully for life and to develop adults skills necessary for the productive and competitive economy that underpins our quality of life."
