BRIERLEY Hill residents have been urged to have their say over a framework for the future of the town.

The Area Action Plan for Brierley Hill will guide the regeneration of the town's High Street, Merry Hill and the Waterfront up to 2021.

A consultation event is being held at the Brier School, Bromley Lane, Kingswinford on Thursday March 29 between 4.30pm and 6.30pm.

The plan will form part of Dudley's planning framework and be the starting point for making decisions on planning application in the area.

The deadline for comments is Friday April 13. Send them to Rachel Gandolfi, Planning Policy Section DUE, 3 St James's Road, Dudley, West Midlands, DY1 1HZ, call 01384 816964 or email Rachel.Gandolfi@dudley.gov.uk.

The Brierley Hill Area Action Plan is to be adopted in October 2009.
