International Women's Day on Thursday March 8 was marked at Black Country Living Museum with more than 800 girls and women attending a celebration day including a through the ages fashion show and women's history exhibition.
Lye Community Centre joined in the fun on Tuesday March 6 when more than 150 women enjoyed traditional healthy food from around the world and took part in card and jewellery making workshops.
Dudley, Halesowen and Stourbridges' Crystal leisure centre all hosted a series of free fitness sessions during the week.
