Tividale dropped two vital promotion points as a twice missed penalty denied them at Bewdley Town.

Second-placed Tivi had come from behind to take the lead in the game and missed a golden chance to secure the win, when first Nick Dodds then Luke Reynolds missed a retaken penalty in the 73rd minute.

And to make matters worse the home side levelled with just four minutes to go to take a share of the spoils.

Manager Ross Hill was left downhearted by the result but added: "It was a great game for the fans.

"Before the game I would have taken a point. But afterwards I am upset we didn't take all three.

"It was a great strike by their player at the end, but we should have had the game won by then. We missed the penalty twice and Nick Turton missed a great chance as well."

Former Gornal Athletic goal-getter Turton scored on his debut after joining to replace Callum Martin - who left a fortnight ago to join Willenhall - and Hill said the strike will be the first of many. "Nick is an excellent player. I have been aware of of him for a couple of seasons, he will do a good job for us. I know Gornal did not want to lose him."

Tivi face mid-table Wellington at The Beeches this Saturday (kick off 3pm) and have injury doubts over top scorer Dave Brown and youngster Luke Paskin - who have groin and knee injuries repectively - but Hill has fingers crossed both will be in the squad for the game. "We will leave it to the physio and see if we can get them ready. We don't want our best players missing," he added.
