Junior football round-up
Pensnett Panthers U9s were on top of their game to defeat Black Country Rangers 6-1.
The goals were scored by man of the match Thomas Griffiths (2), Ben Shaw (2) and Courtney Noakes (2).
The U10s East were defeated 1-0 by Rowley Rhinos with Ryan Law winning the man of the match award.
The U13s South were defeated 3-0 by Finchfield F.C with Liam Nixon winning the man of the match award.
The U16s defeated Trysull Tigers West 4-0 with Ryan Noakes notching a hat-trick and Lee Cartwright getting one.
Dean Robbins picked up the man of the match award.
Enville Athletic The U15s reached the last four of the Kiddermnister Harriers Charity Cup with a disciplined, fighting display against a good Bilbrook side.
Despite falling behind Enville came back strong and Rickie Hipkiss got the equaliser.
Enville once again fell behind but they didn't give up and grabbed a deseved equaliser in second half injury time through Tom Adams. Extra time brought no more goals and the resultant penalties saw Enville through, scoring all their spot kicks.
Enville now face a semi final tie against Old Hill Colts.
The U9s defeated Kidderminster FITC 4-1.
Oliver Mann and Joseph Marsh both bagged a brace.
The U8s continued their winning run by beating Kinver 8 - 0.
The team dominated the whole game with some lovely flowing football and both Aaron Asseltine and Jack Lowe scored hat tricks with Ben Lloyd-Williams getting the other two.
Hasbury Rangers The U9s beat Dudley Diamonds thanks to two goals from man of the match David Sunburk.
The U11s beat Withymoor Colts South 2 - 1 thanks to goals from Robert Box man of the match Joseph Thompson.
The U12s drew 1-1 with Oakham Raiders.
James Hipkiss scored the only goal with Adam Hadley picking up the man of the match award.
The U14s East lost 5-1 to Brockmoor Badgers.
Daniel Jones scored a consolation goal with Sam Gilliland and Jonathan Lynch picking up the join man of the match award.
The U14's West drew 1-1 with Withymoor Colts thanks to a goal from man of the match Greg Warren.
Halas Hawks The girls were in Merit Shield action last weekend with the U10s girls drawing 2-2 with West Hagley, with both goals coming from Mollie Duroe.
The U14s East continued their run of good form with a 3-1 win over Angels, a game played in tremendous spirit by both teams.
Goals came from Elizabeth Richards, Olivia Emerson and Catherine Barrett.
The U14s West had plenty of possession against Withymoor and after missing several good chances, they went behind to a dubious first half penalty.
Halas continued to maintain their pressure and got a well deserved equalizer from Katie Wilkes after a strong run and cross from Lilly Crawshaw.
Both teams fought hard for the winner, but there was no further score.
In the boys league, the U7s West lost 6-4 to Duncan Edwards Juniors with man of the match, George Hands getting a hat trick and Shannon Stamps the fourth.
The U8s Dynamos played their last league game at Wordsley Wasps West and came away with a convincing 4-0 win after a hat trick from Lewis Sidebottom and one from James Williams. Man of the match went to James White.
The U8s West traveled to Kewford, going down 5-2, with their goals coming from Cameron Milne and Ellis Meredith. Man of the match went to Jack Evans.
The U9s met Gornal South and were made to fight all the way in a 2-1 win helped by an own goal and one from Dominic Hipkiss. Man of the match went to goalkeeper Charlie Bagley whose saves prevented a Gornal equalizer.
The U10s Dynamos put in a great team effort against Trysull Tigers West and thoroughly deserved their 4-1 victory with man of the match Dan Willetts getting a hat-trick and Jake Walley also getting on the score sheet.
The U10s East drew 0-0 with Kingswinford boys in a match they should have won comfortably. Ryan Taylor was awarded man of the match for a faultless performance in goal.
The U11s played host to Duncan Edwards Juniors and made hard work of their 4-3 win after taking a first minute lead through Jack Hipkiss. Halas then became complacent and gave away an equaliser, before restoring their lead through a well taken Danny Hodgetts goal.
The second half saw them add a further two goals from man of the match, Joe Ward and a second for Hipkiss .
The U13s met MNG Milanco and in very difficult conditions, Halas took the lead twice but found it hard to hold onto and the game finished 2-2. Halas goals came from Jack Bennett and Alex Hudson, whilst man of the match went to Ryan Brookes for an excellent all round performance.
Oldswinford Colts The U10s defeated Wordsley Wasps West 2-1 thanks to goals from Alex Round and Ryan Owen with Daniel Davies picking up the man of the match award.
The U14s defeated Brandhall Athletic 6-2.
The goals were scored by Matt Corfield (4) and Joe Parkes (2) with Samuel Archer picking up the man of the match award.
Brierley Hill Bullets The U8s West defeated Forest Falcons 3-2 thanks to a hat-trick from Shea Price-Smith.
Chad Dingley picked up the man of the match award.
The U9s East beat Oldswinford Youth 5-1.
The all important goals were scored by Corey Warr (2), Corey Barnes(2), and Ben Shaw.
The U10s East won 4-2 against Kewford Eagles South.
On the scoresheet was Callum Broome (2), Ellis Bastable, Kieran Bishop with Daniel Ferguson picking up the man of the match award.
The U10s North lost 4-1 to Bearwood Sports with Niall Clarke getting the only goal and Ross Swain picking up the man of the match award.
The U11s East won 4-0 against Pheonix Youth.
James Clarke notched a hat-trick with Jack Parkes getting one with Connor Tromans winning the man of the match award.
The U11s West were defeated 8-2 by Gornal Colts.
Man of the match Jordon Paraszczak scored twice.
The U12s East lost 6-1 to Trysull West with Talon Didlick scoring a consolation goal.
The U14s East lost 4-1 to Forest Falcons with Gary Handley scoring the Bullets only goal.
The U15s lost 5-1 to Halesowen Town and the U16s were defeated 3-0 by Halesowen Panthers.
Stourbridge Glassboys The U12s were in action against Kingswinford AFC East and picked up a 2-1 win.
Goals from James Baxter and Sam Lees sealed the victory with Jordan Scriven picking up the man of the match award.
Withymoor Colts Bilbrook East U12s continue their unbeaten season after beating Withymoor West U12s were beaten 4-2 by unbeaten Billbrook East U12s. Withymoor went into the break 2 - 1 up after goals from George Hotchkiss and James Hanson but could not hold on in the blizzard in the 2nd half.
The U11s South were defeated 2-1 by Hasbury Rangers.
A good run and finish from George Handy gave withymoor the lead but they were not able to hold on.
Mitchell Pountney picked up the man of the match award.
The U7s West lost to Kewford Eagles South 4-2.
The consolation goals came from man of the match Rhys Bannister and Jonathon Pedley.
Forest Falcons Forest Falcons East U9s V Brierley Hagley Celtic Big match between these top of division 1 teams. It was a battle from start to finish with a cracking save from Falcons goalie Jay Lewis keeping Dan Brindley from Brierley scoring.
