Our meeting in March was opened by our chairman Betty Taylor who led us in prayer.
The proceeds of our sales table this year are being given to mercy ships in Africa so everyone was encouraged to support it.
Our summer evening out in June will be to Bewdley where we shall have supper at The Plough Inn.
On March 2 some of our ladies joined those of other local churches of all denominations for a Women's World Day of Prayer, the ladies of Paraguay had prepared this year's service.
As the April meeting falls in Holy Week we will be taking part in the service in church at 7.30pm on Tuesday April 3. Easter cards will be sent to those members who are not well enough to join us.
Our speaker for the evening George Hook was then welcomed and he gave us a talk on "The World of Mother of Pearl".
