One of the appeals of country walking is that, during the course of a year, the same route can offer at least eight variations.
Each of the seasons presents a very different scene and by simply reversing the route four alternative views and walks may be enjoyed.
Twenty walkers enjoyed a 10-mile walk on Sunday in the Corvedale area of Shropshire.
Previous Club walks in this area have tended to follow the clockwise direction; Sunday's leader opted for the opposite course.
The group set off from The Swan at Aston Munslow and headed towards the sister village of Munslow and onto Beambridge.
The walk then followed a northwest course to gain the Jack Mytton Way to follow the ridge of Wenlock Edge as far as Jacob's Ladder after which they passed through Wetmore Farm and Munslow Common on their way back to the start and a more than welcome pint.
